Our Services
As we continue to push for sustainable change across Asia, we want to share some of the articles, workshops, talks, and other events/media that we have used to support Asian youth and other organizations thus far. If you would like AEYN to give a talk, host a lecture, create content, or lead a program/event for your organization, please contact us at team@aeyn.org.
Climate Jobs/Internships Bootcamp
Our Climate Jobs/Internships Bootcamp is a 45-60 minute program that we debuted in early 2024 for AEYN members. This informative workshop guides participants through tips and strategies for finding positions, building strong applications, and developing relevant skills.
Breaking Down Decarbonization
Breaking Down Decarbonization was a presentation we gave for a UC Berkeley class titled ‘Sustainable Futures’ in 2021. This informative lecture helpfully guides viewers through the essentials of decarbonization in transportation, heavy industry, and electricity, using simple jargon and interactive examples. It also discusses some policy solutions and incentives for accelerating the energy transition. The presentation was attended by over 50 students.
Earth Strategy Summit Presentation
In a session titled “Climate Action in Asia & Representation: context, challenges, and stories,” our core team spoke about the current state of environmentalism in Asia and why Asian representation in the global environmental movement is crucial for solving the climate crisis. The presentation was given at Earth Strategy’s first annual summit (June 2021). For more information or for presentation requests, contact us at team@aeyn.org.
Global Just Recovery Gathering Sessions
We hosted two sessions at the April 2021 Just Recovery Gathering, an event hosted by 350.org to push for a greener global Covid-19 recovery plan. Our first session, called “The Asian context: effective environmental activism within disenfranchised communities”, was a panel on Asian environmentalism, featuring Syaqil Suhaimi (Malaysia), Marinel Ubaldo (Philippines), and Ashish Birulee (India). Our second session,“Networking 101: how to expand your reach, grow connections, and collaborate effectively,” was a workshop on networking for climate youth activists.
